MEDIA AND THE IMPLICATIONS OF SOCIAL NETWORKING

I define media in the most modern way possible. Media refers to all the means in which communication and information gets delivered to the public. Types of media includes but is not limited to: television, computers and laptops, smart phones, etc.

Now social networking works hand in hand with media. Social networking is defined as a way of using online platforms and websites to connect to other people all over the world on social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram and interchange information such as posts, videos, and music.

SITES I CURRENTLY USE

I primarily only a small amount of social media sites. I use Facebook for just seeing how relatives are living their life and for the marketplace on Facebook to score some sweet deals. I use SnapChat as a messenger app because I like the instant delete policy it has, and finally I use Bulls Connect to see what's going on at the University of South Florida in which I am currently taking this class because I was forced to for credits but hey we don't talk about that (I'm joking professor I like this class). The frequency in which I use these apps vary. For example I use Facebook maybe once or twice every week to check new deals, SnapChat everyday, LinkedIn everyday and Bulls Connect every week.

Finally to be honest the only thing that social media makes me feel is I guess nervousness. I refuse to put anything embarrassing or incriminating because social footprints last a long time.
